Lucy Richards
Lucy Richards is an American woman who was sentenced to five months in prison in 2017 for threatening the parent of a victim of The Sandy Hook Elementary Massacre[1]. Richards had sent multiple death threats to the parent, accusing him of being an actor involved in a hoax.
Richards was a believer in the false conspiracy theory that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax and that the parents of the victims were actors. She was arrested in December 2016, after sending multiple threatening emails and voicemails to the parent. In March 2017, she pleaded guilty to interstate transmission of a threat to injure and was sentenced to five months in prison.
As part of the conditions of her sentence, she was specifically prohibited from listening to InfoWars.
