Youngevity is a multi-level marketing (MLM) selling health and wellness products, including dietary supplements and personal care items. Through its subsidiary IWHealth, Alex Jones' InfoWars has engaged in financial dealings with Youngevity starting around 2013. During the bankruptcy process, it was revealed that Alex was still receiving royalties from product sales in 2022.
Youngevity was co-founded in 1997 by Dr. Joel D. Wallach, a veterinarian and naturopathic doctor, initially under the name American Longevity.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued a warning letter to Youngevity in June 2020 regarding health claims related to COVID-19 made by the company and its distributors.
