• J. Michael Waller claimed that he saw people that he felt were provocateurs on January 6, but there is no evidence to back up his impressions, and the case he makes is not very compelling. It's entirely possible that he saw people acting like they were in the military because 1 out 5 people arrested on Jan. 6 had served in the military
• J Michael Waller participated as a talking head in Lauren Southern's film Crossfire, arguing that Anifa events are orchestrated by agent provocateurs, which indicates that he had come to this conclusion prior to the events of January 6, and as such, his impartiality about his experience is an open question
• Taylor Hansen is not a journalist, he's an anti-abortion activist who recorded himself burning a Black Lives Matter flag on the evening of January 5
