Mika Brzezinski (born May 2, 1967) is an American liberal political commentator, author, and co-host of ''Morning Joe'' on MSNBC. During 9/11 she was the main "Ground Zero" reporter for CBS. She joined MSNBC in 2007 and was later chosen as co-host of ''Morning Joe'', alongside [[Joe Scarborough]].

Brzezinski is a visiting fellow at the Harvard Institute of Politics and her primary focus is wage equality. She has written 3 books; 2 about journalism & 1 about eating disorders.

Johnson and was National Security Advisor to President Carter.
